All Hail a Guest has arrived. As Hersir of Hildulf Kindred, I would like to welcome you to Our Home on the internet. Our Kindred formed in Feb of 2004 and has flourished in the last 4years. With work your ideas and hopes can manifest in to great things. Just remember this: This is the begining of a new day. The Aseir have given you this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is very important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever, leaving something in its place that you have traded for it. You want it to be a gain, not a loss: good, not evil: success, not failure. In order that you shall not forget the price you paid for it. For what you do today will be woven in the Web of Wyrd and be laid in your Orlog forever. As Heathens we are our deeds. Unlike other beliefs we have a daily affirmation of faith. This site like many other sites were made to give helpful information to the people trying to find their way in life. We plan on adding to this site as we find more information availible. The Sagas can be read online from the Online Medievil and Classical Literature link under informative links. Once on their site click on Genres then scroll down. The Havamal was added because it holds so much information. How to live your live, treat others, and the story how Odin gained the runes for us to use. I personally have read it many times in different translations. I always learn something new from it. I hope that it is helpful to you as well. Hurstwic is an outstanding site for Viking Age History on daily life, society, and weapons. Once on their site click on projects and scroll down near the bottom. For those that would like to learn Old Norse there is a link also. There are 9 free lessons. I heard that they are provided by the University of Iceland but I am not 100% sure. The Asatru Beginners's Course is free and was written by many Heathens that have had their books published. This will allow a person to start understanding the way of our Ancestors without having to purchase a book about all these topics. There are links to some of the larger organizations of Asatru that have been around for decades. Currently a few Kindreds in the South Eastern States are forming a Southlands Tribal Alliance.
